PSHE AT THE HEIGHTS FEDERATION
At the Heights Federation we believe that Personal, Social, Health and Economic education is an important and necessary part of all pupils’ education. We follow the guidance prepared for us from the PSHE assosiation, this enables us to create a bespoke PSHE currcilum that focuses on the needs and values within each of our federation schools.
pshE ASSOSIATION
The PSHE assosiation focuses on signposting our school to high-quality resources and helps us to expand the bespoke PSHE programme within each of our three schools. The association enables the teacher to deliver all areas of the PSHE curriculm for Personal, Social, Health and Economic education as well as promoting the teaching of consent as part of SRE, in line with the statutory guidance for that subject.
RSE
The focus in our primary schools in the Heights Federation is on teaching the fundamental building blocks and characteristics of positive relationships, with particular reference to friendships, family relationships, and relationships with other children and with adults.
