Welcome to Class 2!
Here in Class Two we have a great time in our learning. We have a mixture of year 2, 3 and 4 pupils.
We enjoy learning with our teacher Mr Hirsch.
We are very lucky to have Miss Whiteley, Mrs Lambie and Mrs Cornwall helping us out as well.
Important things to remember
- Our P.E. day is Thursday & Friday - don't forget to wear your P.E. kit and take out any earrings before school.
- Reading diaries will be checked and recommended reading books will be changed every Friday - it is really important to read as much as possible at home as well as at school. Comics, books, newspapers and even online articles are all great things to read and record in diaries.
- Wellies and waterproof clothing can be kept in school in case of any wet weather.
Spring 2
This half term in class 2, the children will be learning all about Hans Christian Anderson's tradition tales. We will be reading the stories and creating our own pieces of writing focussing on narrative and drama. In Geography we will be looking at place knowledge and learning to understand geographical similarities and differences through the study of human and physical geography of a region of the United Kingdom, a region in a European country and a region within North or South America. In Science we will be learing all about plants!
